Founded in 2023, Enosemi emerged from stealth mode with a focus on design enablement and design intellectual property (IP) for silicon photonics. The company secured a commercial agreement with Luminous Computing to license and sell silicon photonics design IP originally developed at Luminous, a key technology for AI supercomputing applications. Enosemi’s leadership team comprises seasoned professionals with expertise in silicon photonics, analog mixed signal, lasers, control, packaging, and system hardware.

Earlier this year, AMD completed the $4.9 billion acquisition of ZT Systems, a data center infrastructure provider, to develop end-to-end AI solutions.
